A career banker, Pavan delivered TEEB’s Interim Report (2008) whilst still working as a Managing Director of Global Markets Division at Deutsche Bank.
As Special Adviser and Head of UNEP’s Green Economy Initiative, Pavan led the path-breaking, ‘The Economics of Ecosystems & Biodiversity’ (TEEB) study (2008-2011) and UNEP’s landmark report ‘Towards a Green Economy’. He continues to support UN Environment and TEEB as Goodwill Ambassador and was Special Adviser to their recent study “TEEB for Agriculture and Food” (2018).
Pavan was awarded the McCluskey Fellowship (2011) by Yale University. At Yale, he taught a graduate course on TEEB and wrote his book “Corporation 2020”. André Hoffmann is the Vice Chairman of Roche Holding, Switzerland and serves on the board of the fully owned subsidiary Genentech Inc. in California (USA).
Alongside his non-executive roles in the family business, Mr. Hoffmann has a distinguished cursus in nature conservation and sustainability. He has served among others on the board of WWF International as Vice-President. He is the President of Fondation MAVA and of Fondation Tour du Valat in the Camargue, France.
Mr Hoffmann has joined the Board of SystemIQ to help positively disrupt critical economic systems; the Board of Trustees of the World Economic Forum, as well as of the Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution in San Francisco. Erik Solheim is a well-known global leader on environment and development as well as an experienced peace negotiator. He has served as Norwegian minister of Environment and International Development. During which he initiated the global program for conservation of rainforests. He brought Norwegian development assistance to 1%, the highest in the world.
Previously, Erik was Chair of the OECD Development Assistance Committee and Executive Director of UN Environment. He led the peace efforts in Sri Lanka and has played a vital role in peace efforts in Nepal, Myanmar and Sudan. Additionally, he was Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme from 2016 to 2018.
Currently he is senior adviser at World Resource Institute and Convener of the Global Coalition for Green Belt and Road and serves as the CEO of the Plastic REVolution Foundation.

Dr. Jean Rogers is the Founder of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), which she also led in various capacities for seven years, including as Chief Executive Officer (2011-2017) and Chair of the Standards Board (2017-2018).
Dr. Rogers is a 2018 INSEAD Society of Progress Medal Laureate and has been named by Barron’s as one of the Top 20 Influencers of Sustainable Investing in 2018. She was named one of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting by Accounting Today in 2015, 2016 and 2017. She is a former Loeb Fellow at Harvard University, and holds undergraduate and master’s degrees in civil and environmental engineering from Manhattan College in Riverdale, NY, and a PhD in environmental engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Dr. Haripriya Gundimeda is a Professor in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. She has made pioneering contributions in the area of Environmental Economics and has been the recipient of the START Young Scientist award in 2001. She was the President of International Urban Biodiversity and Design Network.
Dr. Gundimeda was one of the coordinating lead authors of the UN "The Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity” (TEEB) Report and the study on TEEB agriculture food complexes. Born in Rome in 1939. Claudio is a PHD in Mathematics and has taught for 12 years at the Italian University (Milan, Trento, Trieste). Among his main scientific contributions are a work on the Theory of Measurement, on foundational aspects of Probability Theory, and on the possibility of a formal (axiomatized) Theory of Causality. He is presently involved in the scientific area of Deep Learning, with reference to content analysis.
Claudio resigned from University to become head of RD and technology for a multinational company - AEGIS - operating in the area of media and communication. Initially based in London and subsequently in Wilton Ct USA. Together with Meenakshi Menon he has founded Spatial Access Ltd Mumbai, of which he is still a technology partner.
Claudio is also a fiction writer - one of his books received a special mention in an international competition for literary works – and painter, having exhibited in Milan (3 exhibitions) and in Ovada.
