Our core offerings for corporates are...
Our impact analysis solutions help businesses to measure, value and benchmark impacts of business externalities across four capitals (Natural, Social, Human and Produced) held in all forms of ownership (private, community, public) all along value chains.
Our SDG Mapping feature provides an “inside-out” review that analyses the environmental, human, social and financial impacts of the firm’s operations, products, business model and company policies on achievement of SDG Targets. It helps identify and present all significant impacts, both positive or negative, in absolute terms and against benchmarks.
Measuring externalities along multi-capital components provides companies with holistic evaluation of corporate performance and helps drive sustainable business growth for both business and society via:
✔ Developing strategies to decouple business growth from environmental damages
✔ Quantification of impacts of company policies and business models on stakeholder communities
✔ Measuring returns on investment for investments made in technology, employee training and corporate social responsibility.
Product Level analysis
Our product level impact analysis provides estimates of economic value of upstream (supplier) and downstream (customer) impacts on GHG emissions, water consumption, water & land pollution, waste generation, etc. for products.
This provides managers with the information required to make key decisions, including:
✔ Comparing impacts before and after changes in product design
✔ Comparing environmental impacts of alternative designs & technology.

GIST’s Impact Intensity Dashboard (GIID)
The GIST Impact Intensity Dashboard (GIID) provides a database assessment of listed companies by utilising cognitive search engines to source publicly disclosed information, helping investors and ESG professionals to quantify the positive and negative impacts in their portfolios. This offering includes optional extras, such as Integrated Profit & Loss (IP&L) statements, KPI trend analysis and time-series monitoring.
PE Screening & Evaluation
Private equity GPs can conduct impact assessments using GIST's SaaS product I360X. These assessments can generate IP&L statements, benchmarks and map impacts to UN SDGs as well as creating multi-year and multi-unit assessments at both company and portfolio levels.
Metrics for Sustainability Funds
GIST can act as the “intel inside” for fund managers to build new SRI/ESG funds and products, develop impact valuation frameworks, set methodologies for asset allocation and create sustainability indexes.
Research Projects & Bespoke Reports
GIST can act as an outsourced research hub for asset owners to evaluate a company’s impacts and/or develop a dialogue for future improvements. We can also provide index and sectoral calculations across the four capitals we analyse and SDGs for specific time periods or regions.
Banks & lenders
GIST’s capitals based impact analysis enables lenders to identify and measure the impacts of material non-financial risks to companies within their loan books.
Loan Book Analysis for unlisted companies
GIST utilises it's cutting-edge impact analysis platform, SME360X, to analyse a lending organisation's loan books.
With data supplied by either the lending institution, or with them acting as an intermediary to ensure the companies in their books provide the relevant information, SME360X can act as an online tool for loan book analysis.
Loan book analysis for listed companies
Loan book analysis for listed companies can be provided using the impact metrics from GIST's GIID database.
GIST can apply these metrics based on an agreed allocation, for example through market cap, enterprise values, or even just outstanding debt.

Liveability has strong ties with environmental status. Human wellbeing and performance is directly or indirectly linked with the status of the local environment.
GIST’s Liveability Index takes into consideration key environmental performance indicators, such as air pollution, water consumption, land use, wastewater management, and waste management. Each of these indicators are associated with third party costs to society & human wellbeing. The societal costs are converted to universal metric i.e. economic value ($).
