We’re thrilled to announce that GIST Impact has just joined the Nature Tech Collective – and we’re honoured to be featured in their latest Member Spotlight (linked below).
The Nature Tech Collective (NTC) is a global community of nature tech stakeholders, united by a shared commitment to transform human systems which harm nature, and enhance the conservation and regeneration of our natural world. They unite solution-seekers and solution-builders to turn nature-tech adoption challenges into opportunities – breaking down silos and accelerating collaborative impact globally.
So, what inspired us to join?
GIST Impact has been around for a long time in different avatars: and so we have both battle scars and the recipes for success to share with our fellow NTC members! We also have a very brilliant team: over half our colleagues have advanced technical degrees (Masters or PhDs), so we are very happy to geek out and guide on complex nature and biodiversity related questions.”
How do we see ourselves in the NTC ecosystem?
We see our role as complementary to other members of the ecosystem because we focus on collecting high-quality, traceable company data (including on corporate pressures) and translating it, through scientifically robust methods, into decision-useful insights. Many organisations in the Collective provide critical on-the-ground or satellite data. We’re well placed to onboard that data, integrate it with corporate data (e.g. asset locations, water consumption, pollution) and deliver actionable insights to both corporations and investors.
Joining the NTC reflects our core values: embedding rigorous science, transparency, and collaboration into nature-tech solutions and enabling rapid scaling. We’re excited to contribute our expertise – and to learn from and partner with others in this mission-driven community.
