We’re proud to announce that GIST Impact is a Founding Partner and the Official Impact Knowledge Partner for the 1 Million Learners Programme – launched today at the Dubai FinTech Summit by the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).

Part of the DIFC Sustainable Finance Catalyst, this initiative aims to equip one million individuals with knowledge in sustainability and sustainable finance by 2030, helping to build a skilled workforce capable of driving sustainable economic growth across the region and beyond.

As DIFC’s chosen impact partner, GIST Impact will play a pivotal role in embedding and operationalising impact intelligence, and support the programme in evaluating outcomes and communicating progress, embedding our science-based methodologies for measuring and valuing environmental, social, and economic impacts.

Our work will help ensure this ambitious programme delivers measurable, meaningful benefits – especially in underserved communities.

We are honoured to be working with DIFC and 28 other founding partners, including S&P Global, LSEG, UNDP and PRI, to redefine how sustainability education is delivered at scale.

This programme marks a meaningful step toward building widespread impact literacy. We look forward to helping shape the tools, knowledge, and practices that will empower the current and next generation of decision-makers.

Stay tuned for more updates on our role and the impact of this exciting initiative in the months ahead!
