GIST Impact is delighted to announce the appointment of Jonquil Hackenberg to our
Advisory Board.
Jonquil brings 25 years of executive leadership in large-scale transformation, climate, resource recovery, water systems and decarbonisation. Her most recent position has been as Chief Executive of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, the world’s leading circular economy NGO, refocusing a global philanthropic platform toward measurable outcomes.
Her career spans CEO roles, global consulting leadership and catalytic investment direction.
She was previously CEO of Eunomia Research & Consulting, headed PA Consulting‘s global
climate response practice, and held sustainability roles at Infosys, advising boards and executives on technology-enabled transformation across consumer goods, agri-tech, energy and manufacturing.
She also holds a wide portfolio of board roles, including Deputy Chair of the Design Council,
Trustee of Glasgow Science Centre and Chair of the Sustainability Advisory Board at
Sustainable Energy First, plus long-standing mentoring of climate and impact-tech start-ups
via Katapult Ocean.
"Real impact comes from turning evidence into action at pace — building the partnerships, data and infrastructure that move organisations from ambition to measurable outcomes. GIST Impact sits exactly at that intersection, and I'm looking forward to helping embed nature, climate and social intelligence into business decision-making."
