Feeling the heat? What rising temperatures mean for business

We’re always enhancing our Data Portal – driven by client feedback, the latest science, and best practice. Here are the most notable updates from the last quarter:

Portfolio analysis with Nature Value at Risk (NVaR)

Portfolio-level analysis powered by Nature Value at Risk, letting users quantify nature-related financial exposure across an entire portfolio rather than one company at a time. Users can upload their own portfolios, set any portfolio or holding as a benchmark, apply custom sector mappings and TNFD priority-sector filters, and export the underlying data.

Financial exposure can now be assessed across an entire portfolio rather than one company at a time
Consolidated ESG data and TNFD reporting

ESG datasets consolidated into unified company views organised across Environmental, Social and Governance pillars, with an updated in-product explainer, plus new TNFD-aligned reporting at the company level.

Dedicated physical and climate risk views, including drought

Asset-level views showing exposure to physical climate hazards, now expanded with a drought layer alongside the existing hazard set. Map views surface hazard detail on hover and flag the location accuracy of each asset.

Our new drought layer can be added alongside existing physical risk layers
Biodiversity enhancements, with more context

Sector-level ecosystem-service dependencies and pressures are now surfaced via tooltips, and Biodiversity Intactness (BII) score and trend views ship with sensible default thresholds. Areas of Biodiversity Importance now reflect updated IUCN classifications.

Cleaner user interface

A refreshed primary navigation bar and a new company Overview screen that brings key metrics into a single landing view. New report and map view layouts, an interactive constituent bar chart tied to the selected data layer, geography-specific detail modals, and one-click download of charts and tables.

Scores make it easier to gather information at a glance
